Project: Three stained-glass windows made of handmade glass measuring 150 x 150 cm, winning work of the percentage art competition, 2022

The artwork "West" located on the west-facing facade of the guard battalion barracks consists of three stained glass windows. Glass in warm tones from the French glass factory Saint-Just, blown as bottles, creates a positive mood in the otherwise gray-toned architecture, and the glass material plays as optical color spots on the walls. The composition includes three ovals of different shapes and colors, the eagle of the Guards Battalion symbol and the international western weather arc image W. Ambiguous for the west: the work referring to both the phases of the sunset and the space of value is simultaneously both decorative and symbolic.
